The location of the restaurant Korenlei Twee is such that from here you have a splendid view on the the Corn Wharf, the Grass Wharf and the Saint Michael’s Bridge that crosses the river Leie. From the patio at the back of the house, there where the rivers Leie and Lieve meet, you get an unforgettable view on the Old Fish market and the Meat or Great Butchers Hall. The neogothic house – it dates from the 18th century – and the original beautiful setting sets the place apart in the field, right in the oldest historical centre of Ghent, close to the old medieval Port.

Cafe Theatre is located in the ‘Opera House of Ghent’, which openend in 1840. For a hundred years, the Royal Opera of ghent and ‘Café du Théâtre’ have been the crowdpuller of Ghents night life. In 1989, the Opera House closed down for fire safety reasons In 1998, the Opera House and Restaurant-Bar Cafe Theatre re-opened. The cosmopolitan spirit that Cafe Theatre emanates gives you the impression you are dining an a major trendy city of the world. Brasserie Pakhuis is located in a cosy alley with the towers of Ghent in the background. On entering, you are overwhelmed by the enormous space that still reflects the atmosphere of this former warehouse. Portuguese architect Antoine Pinto gave the building its distinctive warm character. The unique combination of a 600 square meters storage space with the specifically designed interior is what distinguishes Brasserie Pakhuis from any other restaurant. www.pakhuis.be
